We went this morning to see the Houston Grand Opera production of Dvorak's The Little Mermaid, and we had the best time! We had front row seats, the show was made for kids and was only 45 minutes long, and Gideon was just tickled the whole time - he really enjoyed himself. It was a total success.
From opera to monster trucks, we do it all!
Heinen Theater on the HCC Central campus, where the performance was held, is a neat little building that was originally the first synagogue in Houston, and there is still an original, beautiful glass stained glass Star of David ceiling.
