Fire Truck Park
So we have lived in this house for two years, and I never knew the most charming little park was just blocks away. It's in another "city," on the other side of an uncrossable drainage ditch, and surrounded by a ton of tiny streets that don't connect to any major roads, so I guess it's not surprising I didn't know of it. It's a perfect distance, under a mile, for towing Gideon to with a bike, and would be a lovely walk on a not-too-hot day. It has playscapes both large and small, picnic tables, huge trees, a basketball court, room for a soccer field, and a community pool. Best of all, it has a giant old real antique fire truck for the kids to climb on. Awesome!
